We went to the Zillertal valley in the Austrian Alps in winter. In mid-February the weather was perfect! For the first two days we could see snow and cloudy Tyrol but for the next days the weather was perfect. Fresh snow, frost and sun! Alpine landscapes delight me! High, steep, rocky mountains, deep valleys and nature are hypnotizing - you can admire them for hours.

The main ridge of the Alps - these rocks are impressive!
There are ski resorts: Mayrhofen, Penken, Rastkogel, Eggalm on these snowy mountain peaks.
A cloudy day in Tux. View from the ski route to the bottom station of the Eggalmbahn ski lift.
Snowing and the world disappears... there is not always the sun in the mountains :-)
