Karpacz is a tourist town located under the Śnieżka Mountain - the highest peak of the Karkonosze Mountains. We came from Polanica-Zdrój to Karpacz at the end of September for an extended weekend. The beginning of autumn is a good time to spend a few days in the Karkonosze (Giant Mountains) and Rudawy Janowickie. There are few people on the mountain trekking trails. The leaves on the trees begin to change colors. Quiet and peaceful - warm and pleasant. I took the photos during two morning walks in Karpacz. We have to go back to this area for longer!

Ghost of Mountains and Mysteries of Karkonosze
Mysteries of Karkonosze (Karkonoskie Tajemnice) is the most interesting tourist attraction in Karpacz. You can get to know the history and legends of the surrounding Giant Mountains. Liczyrzepa, Karkonosz, Rzepiór are other names of the Ghost of Mountains, whose huge statue is in front of the building.
There are many stylish and architecturally interesting buildings in Karpacz. There are hotels, guest houses, apartments and holiday centers in many of them.
