Milan (Milano) is the second largest town in Italy and you will see this city size as soon as you arrive at the main railway station - Stazione Milano Centrale. The terminal is really huge! We came to Milan by train from Bergamo - the journey for about 5 euros took less than an hour. We left the station and went to explore the city.

What to see in Milan

What to see in Milan

It is worth taking a walk around the city and park, drink coffee, eat ice creams and pizza in Milan ... It's definitely worth visiting the cathedral and climbing the stairs or taking the elevator to its roof. In November, we bought the tickets to cathedra almost without queues. Visiting the Duomo di Milano and museum takes several hours.

The Victor Emmanuel II Gallery

One of the most famous shopping centers in Europe, and maybe even in the world - The Victor Emmanuel II Gallery. I always have resistance to calling stores as galleries but in this case this amazing combination of art and trade is really impressive.

Piazza del Duomo

Piazza del Duomo

With the evening walk we end our short tour of Milan. Two days is very little time for this huge city. But on the other hand, such large agglomerations are tiring ... millions of people, thousands of cars, motorbikes, bicycles ... rush and crowds everywhere ... time to run away and calm down. Last look at the Cathedral and the square Piazza del Duomo and we go to the apartment to pack because the next day we are going to the lake in the mountains - to Como.
