Chmielno is a tourist village located less than 10 kilometers from Kartuzy in the center of Kashubian Landscape Park in Poland.
Chmielno is a large summer village surrounded by the lakes: Białe, Kłodno, Rekowo and Raduńskie Dolne in the very center of Kashubia.
Kashubian tourist attractions - Chmielno
There are many tourist attractions in Chmielno: Museum of Kashubian Ceramics, a medieval stronghold on the isthmus between the lakes Biale and Kłodno. For tourists who like sport there are numerous tourist routes, a marina, canoe and boat rental and a natural watering place in the lake.
The southern part of the village is at Lake Raduńskie Dolne.
Lake Raduńskie Dolne is a gutter lake with a length of almost 10 km and is located in the Kashubian Landscape Park. The Radunia river flows along the entire length of the lake.

You can walk through the forests along the tourist trail from Chmielno to Łapalice to see the unfinished castle. See photo gallery: Castles in Poland.
