A few photos from Stężyca in Kashubia in northern Poland. I visited Stężyca on a sunny summer afternoon. It is a great place for holidays and recreation in nature. The weather is perfect for flying and photographing - a little cloudy, no wind, and the sun is going down. I parked the car near the beach and quickly took off the drone to make some photos before dark..
Stężyca is beautifully situated between two Kashubian lakes: Raduńskie Górne and Stężyckie. It's the perfect place for a vacation.
Bird's-eye view of Stężyca - in the foreground: the amphitheater, the Commune Office and the sports center.
The village is beautifully situated on Lake Raduńskie Górne. It is an almost 6 km long postglacial ribbon lake, which is part of the Kółko Raduńskie waterway.
There are two swimming areas in Stężyca. One of them is a communal beach that you can see on the right side of the lake.
Top view of the marina, the promenade on the lake, the beach andswimming area.
Lake Stężyckie is a 2-kilometer long ribbon lake, which is connected with Lake Raduńskie Górne by the Radunia River. This lake is the beginning (or end) of the "Kółko Raduńskie" waterway.
From the bird's eye view you can see the tourist attractions of Stężyca and the surrounding area - a sports center, lakes, forests - it is an ideal place for active recreation.
The Neo-Gothic Evangelical-Augsburg Church was built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Yacht harbor and piers in Stężyca
A marina and a walking promenade by the water, about 800 meters long.
The modern building of the Commune Office is almost a White House but more nicely situated.
Aerial view of the amphitheater, park, traffic town and the Stężyca Commune Office. I have to admit that it all looks beautiful from above.
The stadium of the Radunia Stężyca Sports Club
A large sports center with the stadium of the Radunia Stężyca Sports Club, Orlik, basketball, handball, beach volleyball courts and a playground for children.
Stężyca from a bird's eye view
A view of the western part of Stężyca and the marina on Lake Raduńskie Górne. I also recommend a spherical photo of this area.
There is a clearing there, and on it the Raduni Source Hotel at the end of the peninsula, surrounded by a forest. On the day I was taking these photos, there was a wedding in the hotel, so I did not have the opportunity to try the cuisine that is praised by many - you have to go back there :-)
When I see such interesting pictures, I immediately want to go there and see these amazing wonders of nature up close. You can see more photos from Kashubia in the gallery: Kashubian Lake District
