Polanica-Zdrój in Poland is a small health resort in the Bystrzyca Dusznicka valley between the Stolowe Mountains (Table Mountains) and the Bystrzyckie Mountains. Outside the holiday season, in the middle of the week, just after sunrise, the city is slowly coming to life. It's the perfect moment to look for interesting shots. I really like flying up and watching the world from a different perspective. Even a small change in the angle of view changes practically completely the reception of the image to which we are looking. It is not only about photography but about our perception of life and the world. The distance and the change of the observer's position often allows for an easy perception of what appeared to be non-existent, invisible or hidden... OK - stop :-) I'm starting to describe my philosophy of flying a bit here ... but honestly: flying the drone is for me a complete spiritual recreation... something like meditation and admiring the beauty of the world... I think I will describe it in another text :-) And now I invite you to watch photos from Polanica-Zdrój, I did during two short walks around this charming town.
Polanica-Zdrój - view of the city
A cool September morning in Polanica-Zdrój. The rising sun highlights the colors and shapes - such mornings are perfect for shooting. There is the center of the health resort and the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the photo.
The city is picturesquely situated in the valley between the mountains. You can also see historic houses and large parks.

Polanica-Zdrój is a small health resort near the Stołowe Mountains and Bystrzyckie Mountains, only 10 km from Kłodzko, less than 25 km from the ski station in Zieleniec and about 35 km from the Czarna Góra ski resort. We like to come back to this area because the Kłodzko Land is beautiful and very interesting. You can walk in the mountains and ski in the winter. You can enter a cave or a gold or uranium mine. You can admire architecture, cities, churches, big fortresses and mountain landscapes. Everyone will find attractions for themselves :-) This time, in September, we decided to see the Stołowe Mountains (Table Mountains) and Rock Towns in the Czech Republic.
