Wide beaches with golden sand in tourist resorts, small wild beaches in small coves surrounded by rocks overgrown with pine trees, and crystal-clear turquoise water everywhere - in Majorca there are really beautiful beaches!
I show in photographs and describe several beautiful Majorca beaches in this blog - you can really spend months to get to know all the beaches on the island.
The azure sea, hot sand, the smell of pine trees and the amazing rocky coastline - Formentor beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen.
A wide sandy beach in Port d'Alcudia - one of the most popular holiday resort on the north coast of Mallorca.
A wide beach with fine golden sand, about 10 kilometers long. Shallow and warm waters of the Alcudia Bay make it an ideal place for holidays for families with children.
The famous Cala Formentor beach on the Formentor peninsula in the north of the island. A beautiful natural beach surrounded by pine trees and crystal clear water. You can get here by car. The parking costs 0.04 eurocent per minute (maximum 12 Euro per day), but it's really worth coming here.
If you like nature and natural coast with rocks and small bays with golden sand, you find the most beautiful beaches of Majorca on the Formentor peninsula. Pines grow out of the rocky shore and bend over the azure sea. This is a paradise for photography enthusiasts!
A walk around Formentor beach, which is one of the most beautiful beaches in Mallorca.
A long sandy beach in Port de Pollença in the north of Mallorca.
The weather in Mallorca was variable at the beginning of May. There were very warm days when the temperature reached 25 degrees Celsius and you could sunbathe on the beach. There you can see a sandy beach at Port de Pollença in the picture.
A small wild beach in the bay north of Port d'Andratx. If you are looking for a beach outside tourist resorts, this is the perfect place for a day-long sunbathing - I recommend a spherical photo.
A small rocky beach in a cove on the north coast of Formentor. See a spherical photo from this place!
Coast, rocks, beach and azure sea - Majorca is beautiful!
View of the beach at Port de Soller from the longest trekking route in Mallorca: GR 221 (Ruta de Pedra), which leads through the Serra de Tramuntana mountains along the northern coast of the island. I would recommend walking the trail from Soller to Port de Soller - the route is not difficult and the views are spectacular! More information about this area in the gallery: Soller and Port de Soller.
A large sandy beach in a circular bay in Port de Sóller in the north of the island. More information about this place in the gallery: Soller and Port de Soller.
A few flat rocks on the seashore are sometimes enough for sunbathing ... Not everybody likes to lie in the sand :-) You can see a rocky beach in Port de Soller in the picture.
A small, guarded beach in Palma de Mallorca near the Cathedral of La Seu. The weather was not good for sunbathing that day - less than 20 degrees Celsius, clouds and sometimes rain.
Sant Elm - a small village, surrounded by mountains and forests, on the west coast of Mallorca. Quiet and peaceful tourist resort with rocky bays and sandy beaches.
Spring evening on the beach in Santa Ponsa. Majorca in May is a good direction for those who prefer trekking and sightseeing - if you prefer to spend time on sunbathing then the beginning of May may be too cold.
