St. Nicholas is a tourist city in the center of the Masurian Lake District in Poland. The city lies on two lakes Mikołajskie and Tałta. There are many hotels, guest houses, marinas, holiday resorts, restaurants, cafes, bars and taverns. In the summer the city is full of life - there are a lot of tourists, events, concerts, shanties and many tourist attractions. In the off season, it is much calmer. I recommend visiting Mikołajki in the summer and after the tourist season. Such a comparison is an interesting experience.

The temple was designed in the classicist style by the architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel. Construction began in 1841, and already in 1842 the church was consecrated. An important element of the church is the clock tower, which was completed in 1880.
