It was a cool winter evening in Gdynia with positive temperature, gentle wind and light cloudiness. Maybe a bit chilly, but for January it's almost no wind so I decided to see Gdynia from a bird's eye view at night. After receiving permission from the tower of the military airport in Oksywie, I took off in the vicinity of St. Maximilian Hill and walked along Władysława IV Street towards Kościuszko Square, taking photos of the city on the way. Gdynia is an interesting city to photograph with a drone. You just have to remember that the whole city is in the airspace zone (MCTR) of the Oksywie military airport and before the flight you have to call + 48-261-268-888 and ask for a permit to fly.
In order to take motionless night photos with a drone, we have to hit the windless weather or raise the ISO in the camera. The latter solution, unfortunately, is associated with a loss of photo quality, so I always try to shoot at ISO 100 or 200.
One of the most characteristic buildings in Gdynia - Sea Towers - looks a bit cosmic at night.
The luminous triangle of streets in the center of Gdynia on the left (still decorated with Christmas decorations) Świętojańska Street, in the center Abrahama Street and Władysława IV on the right.

I am not bored with this sight. Almost every time I am in Gdynia and fly a drone, I go to this area. It's not a problem to get postcard photos here.
A look at Śródmieście with the 10 lutego street and the Main Railway Station in the distance.
The fountain at Kościuszko Square in its winter version looks very nice!
Night view of the main streets in Gdynia: Świętojańska and 10 Lutego.
If there is no wind and the contrast of the image is quite high, it is worth using the auto-bracketing (AEB) function, which is available in DJI drones, for night photos. The drone will take three or five photos with different shutter speeds of the same shot. Such photos can be easily combined in Photoshop and get a well-exposed photo without noise.
Saint Maximilian Hill (Wzgórze Świętego Maksymiliana) and the Franciscan Church - Sanctuary of Our Lady, Queen of Hope and St. Maximilian.
Kościuszko Square (Skwer Kościuszki) and Southern Pier (Molo Południowe) look like a golden road to the sea from above :-)
Night views from the center of Gdynia. There is the city hospital, Kaszubski Square and the Gdynia port in the distance in the photo.
A large construction site in a very attractive location in the center of Gdynia, at Jerzego Washington Street.
Evening at Kaszubski Square in Gdynia. I must admit that Gdynia looks more and more beautiful every year.

Aerial view of the city center. This photo clearly shows that Gdynia is a young city with a modern design of buildings and communication routes. You can see more photos from Gdynia in the galleries: Gdynia from a bird's eye view and Gdynia in winter.
