Unique rock labyrinth Błędne Skały (Erroneous Rocks) in a nature reserve in Stołowe Mountains, Poland. Rocks in the reserve make an impression - you can lose the orientation among the several-meter boulders formed by the water flowing through it. In fact, we're going to the bottom of the sea, which was more than 70 million years ago ... in Late Cretaceous - so I read ... and I think so ... 70,000,000 years ... it was really a long time ago...
I recommend the nature reserve Błędne Skały - it is worth going there to walk in a natural maze. When you look at these giant stones you can feel the power of nature.
Blue trail to the Errant Rocks (Błędne Skały) from the YMCA parking lot by the hundred turns road.
Access by car to the Błędne Skały reserve
The nature reserve can also be reached by car and leave the car in a paid parking lot near the ticket office. The road is narrow, therefore the traffic is only one way. There is an information board with entry and exit times.
A rock labyrinth in the Stołowe Mountains
There is a tourist path through the labyrinth. It is worth to look at the Errant Rocks in advance, eg on the Google map to see how vast this rock formation is!
Kurza Stopka (Hen Foot) - this rock mushroom is probably the most famous place in the Bledne Skaly (Errant Rocks).
The tourist path in the reserve is not long. Visiting the rock labyrinth and taking pictures can take about an hour. There are many nice places here - it is worth to slow down and look around.
Nature in the Stołowe Mountains
I really like such natural mountain gardens - here is a bit of a Norwegian landscape.
Stołowe Mountains National Park
We went along the red tourist trail from Błędne Skały towards Karłów. A beautiful trail - not difficult but very scenic.
The most beautiful trails in Stołowe Mountains
The red trail from the Błędne Skały to Skalniak.
You can return from the Errant Rocks to the YMCA parking lot along the Educational Trail Eng. Kazimierz Klimowicz.
Trekking route in Stołowe Mountains
A trekking trail from the parking lot on the YMCA glade to Błędnych Skał, then we went along the red trail to Skalniak (915 m). Return through the Errant Rocks down to the parking lot. We walked about 14 km - beautiful views, nice weather - a pleasant trekking!

We stayed here:
ul. Górska 2
57-320 Polanica-Zdrój, Poland
Polanica-Zdrój is a small health resort near the Stołowe Mountains and Bystrzyckie Mountains, only 10 km from Kłodzko, less than 25 km from the ski station in Zieleniec and about 35 km from the Czarna Góra ski resort. We like to come back to this area because the Kłodzko Land is beautiful and very interesting. You can walk in the mountains and ski in the winter. You can enter a cave or a gold or uranium mine. You can admire architecture, cities, churches, big fortresses and mountain landscapes. Everyone will find attractions for themselves :-) This time, in September, we decided to see the Stołowe Mountains (Table Mountains) and Rock Towns in the Czech Republic.
