Photo gallery from Pieniny - very beautiful mountains with spectacular views. A very warm September in the Pieniny Mountains with fantastic conditions for hiking in the mountains. Maybe at times a bit too hot, because the temperatures reached 30 degrees Celsius, but in such moments you can always hide in a dense forest or take a walk along the Dunajec gorge.

We walk along the yellow trail from Sromowce Niżne through the Szopczański Gorge to pass Szopka, and then the blue trail to Okrąglica (982 m. above sea level) - the peak of Three Crowns.

Going down from the Trzy Korony
From Trzy Korony we went along the blue trail to the Zamkowa Góra (Castle Mountain) to see the ruins of the Pieniński Castle. We got back to the Sromowce follow the green trail. It is a beautiful trail in a big old forest.

Not easy to come in here, especially on a hot day - but really worth it! Beautiful view of the Pieniny, Spišská Magura and the Tatra Mountains ...
