Narie Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Poland. This glacial lake is located in the Iława Lake District not far from the S7 route from Warsaw to Gdańsk, about 25 kilometers north of Ostróda. The lake has a very interesting shape and a well-developed shoreline with a length of about 50 km. There are 23 islands on the lake. It is exceptionally quiet here because there is a silence zone throughout the lake.
It is worth going there to take a break from the hustle and bustle and see these wonderful views.

When I saw Lake Narie on the map for the first time, I was very impressed. The name immediately reminded me of a fairy-tale land - Narnia. The shape of the lake, its shoreline, numerous bays, peninsulas and islands made such an impression on me that I wanted to go there as soon as possible to see these fairy-tale landscapes.

I love my job

Honestly speaking - it's worth getting up before five in the morning for such unforgettable moments and amazing views. The water surface just after sunrise was completely smooth - a perfect mirror.

Island - Wielki Ostrow

The Wielki Ostrów island (Great Ostrow) or Duża Wyspa (Big Island) is the largest of the islands on Lake Narie - it is almost a kilometer long. Over 200-year-old linden grow there.

On this hot summer day, the wind died down in the evening and the lake was completely still. A light mist hung in the air, adding a touch of mystery and romance to the scene. I love to soar above the ground in these moments and admire the views.

Kretowiny is a famous tourist destination on Lake Narie in the Morąg commune. There are many guesthouses, apartments, tourist resorts, camping sites and hotels on the Kretowiny peninsula.

There is a place to swim, a beach and a large pier in Kretowiny. There are also bars, restaurants, ice cream parlors, playgrounds for children in the vicinity of the beach and ample parking lots for cars near the beach.

Kretowiny is the perfect place for a holiday by the lake. When I write these words, the thermometer outside the window shows 32 degrees Celsius and believe me, I would have given a lot to move to this beautiful place to plunge into the cool and crystal clear water of the lake.
