Tilt Shift - miniature city effect
The Tilt-Shift effect can be obtained using special lenses or much easier and cheaper in the graphics program. Miniature faking (diorama effect) - photographic technique gives the illusion of reducing the size of the objects and the city looks like a model.
Kętrzyn - photos from the drone
This drone photo beautifully captures the center of Kętrzyn and its main landmarks. First and foremost, the impressive building of the town hall stands out among the others. Plac Józefa Piłsudskiego, full of life and surrounded by green squares, creates a beautiful space for residents and tourists. In the distance, the majestic collegiate church attracts attention with its impressive size and Gothic architecture. Among the buildings, one can also spot the former Masonic Lodge building. This drone photo portrays a unique blend of history and modernity, creating an unparalleled landscape of Kętrzyn.
Evening panorama of Kętrzyn with the monumental St. George's Collegiate Church dominating the foreground. The view of the city at night adds a special charm and atmosphere to this photo. Its buildings and streets are illuminated with delicate, warm lights that add a sense of mystery to the city. St. George's Collegiate Church, which is the most important monument in Kętrzyn, looks even more impressive in this shot. Its high tower and magnificent cloisters are filled with a warm glow of light, which adds to the building's exceptional majesty.
Collegiate Church and Home Army Square (Plac Armii Krajowej) with the Monument in Tribute to the Fallen, Murdered and Tortured Poles - Defenders of the Homeland 1939-1956.
Beautiful weather on a May morning encourages you to get up early and admire the awakening spring in Kętrzyn. Walking along the streets, you can feel the energizing breath of warm air, and the blooming trees attract the eye, decorating the urban landscape. I really like those quiet mornings on days off when there is so little traffic on the streets - then the city is quiet and almost empty.
The impressive neo-Gothic building of the District Office at Plac Grunwaldzki in Kętrzyn was built in 1894-1895. Its rich decorations, turrets, arches and ornaments are a real gem in the city's architecture.

Night photo of Kętrzyn made just after sunset in summer.
Night shooting is best to start just after sunset as soon as lanterns are turned on and the monuments are highlighted. Then, in addition to the lights of the city, the sky is still shining and the shadows are not so totally black.
