Zawoja is a big village in the Beskid Żywiecki in Poland located at the mountain: Babia Góra. According to some, it is the longest village in Poland. I'm not sure if this is true but I know that it is really long. Zawoja is a mountain tourist destination. You can easily find accommodation - there are many lodgings, guesthouses, hotels and agritourism farms.
Tourist attractions in Zawoja: Educational Center and nature trail of the Babia Góra National Park, exposition in the Center of the Crown of the Earth, open-air museum, wooden church, chapels, historic houses, lookout tower (near the Beskidzki Raj Hotel), ski lifts, a rope park and what is most important - hundreds of kilometers of hiking trails in the Western Beskids.

The waterfall at Mosorny Potok, 8 meters high, is one of the highest in the whole Beskidy Mountains. You can follow the blue trail from Zawoja to the waterfall.

Zawoja is a very large village - it consists of many hamlets located on the slopes of mountains surrounding the valley of the Skawica River. There is a hamlet Ryżowana in Zawoja Górna in the photo.

Open-air ethnographic museum in the Zawoja Markowa. There are three residential buildings, a forge, a chapel and a cellar with a granary in the open-air museum.
Blooming fruit trees, fog in the morning and Babia Góra hidden in the clouds as usual. Such views are worth getting out of bed early.
There are several places where in the winter you can go skiing in Zawoja: the Mosorny Groń ski center and the Baca and Wojtek ski lifts.
May in the mountains - uncertain weather, sometimes snow, sometimes rain, not too warm ... but it is worth going there ... The mountains are mesmerizing!
