Sandy beaches in Tenerife
Tenerife is a volcanic island, but despite this, its coast is home to many beautiful beaches with white sand. Here are a few of them: Playa de Las Teresitas, Playa de El Médano, Playa del Duque, and Playa de Torviscas. Playa de Torviscas is a popular, supervised beach on the south of the island, located in the town of Costa Adeje. It has light, gray sand and crystal-clear water. It is one of the longest and widest beaches on Tenerife. Its length is about 0.5 kilometers, and its width is about 50 meters. Playa de Torviscas is an ideal place to relax and sunbathe. There are sunbed and umbrella rentals, as well as restaurants, bars, and shops on the beach.
