The Archcathedral of Christ the King in Katowice is one of the largest churches in Poland. It is located in the center of the city, at 49A Plebiscytowa Street. The cathedral was built in the years 1927-1955 in the classical style. The building has impressive dimensions: 101 meters long, 50 meters wide, and 64 meters high. It is the largest archcathedral in Poland. The cathedral is the seat of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Katowice.
