Wdzydze Kiszewskie is a village located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the Kościerzyna County, in the Wdzydze Kiszewskie commune. It is a popular tourist destination, known for its ethnographic open-air museum and Lake Wdzydzkie. The ethnographic open-air museum in Wdzydze Kiszewskie is one of the oldest and largest in Poland. It was founded in 1906. In the museum, you can see historic buildings from various regions of Poland, including cottages, granaries, churches, windmills, and forges. Lake Wdzydzkie is the largest lake in the Tuchola Forest. It covers an area of 14.5 km2 and a maximum depth of almost 70 meters.. The lake is a popular spot for water sports such as swimming, fishing, kayaking, and sailing. The Wda River flows from Lake Wdzydze, where you can go kayaking. There are many recreational centers and hotels located along the lake.
