Masurian Lake District (Pojezierze Mazurskie) known as the land of a thousand lakes ... in fact, there are almost three times more of these lakes... To photograph them all is just a challenge... So I'm starting!

Przystań Lake is a north-western bay on Lake Mamry in the Land of the Great Masurian Lakes in Poland.

Nidzkie Lake is 23 kilometers long, and the maximum depth is almost 24 meters. Part of the lake is under reserve protection and there is a silence zone in this area. It is one of the wildest lakes in Masuria. There is the Piska Forest on the shores of the lake. You can reach Lake Nidzkie from Mikołajki via Lake Bełdany and the Guzianka lock.

Dobskie Lake is a fauna and landscape reserve and there is a silence zone there. The reserve aims to protect the lake and the islands located on it, which are breeding places for water birds. The maximum depth of the lake is 22.5 meters.

Ryn, Ryńskie Lake and Ołów Lake

Dluzek Lake for holiday makers
Lake Dłużek is popular with holiday makers. The lake surrounded by forest is 6 km long, 600 m wide and 38.0 m deep. There is a lot of summer houses, campsites, piers and bathing places on the southern shore of the lake from the side of the Dłużek village.
