Cycling routes around Gniew
EuroVelo 9, also known as the Amber Route, passes through Gniew as part of the Vistula Bicycle Route. This picturesque section of the route runs along the Vistula River and over the surrounding hills, offering beautiful views of the Vistula Valley. The entire route stretches almost 2000 kilometers, connecting the Baltic Sea with the Adriatic Sea. We parked our car near the market square in Gniew, and after a brief tour of the city center and the castle, we set off from the square following the route signs southwards. The photo you see here was taken in the village of Jaźwiska.
