The reconstruction process of Granary Island restored its importance after years of neglect. In less than 10 years, the post-war ruins were transformed into a modern, dynamic district combining historical references with contemporary architecture. Today, Granary Island is one of the most attractive places for walks and accommodation in Gdańsk.
