The Vistula Bicycle Route (EuroVelo 9) in the Pomeranian region runs along both banks of the Vistula River, offering a slower pace of life away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Although the entire route is nearly 300 km long and still under development, many sections are already open, allowing for both short rides and multi-day trips. Along the way, cyclists pass unique arcaded houses, Gothic churches with wooden towers hidden in Żuławy villages, and medieval castles standing proudly over the Vistula Delta. Nature lovers will appreciate the spring meadows, flatland scenery, and the variety of birds. It’s a perfect option for those who want to combine active recreation with discovering the cultural gems of Pomerania.
