Do seagulls attack drones?

Yes, seagulls can attack drones, especially in the spring when they are particularly aggressive. During this period, especially near rooftops where seagulls have nests, these birds may defend their territory. They react to intruders, including drones that get too close to their nests, often leading to attacks. As soon as I took off and flew the drone just 5 meters up, suddenly dozens of seagulls appeared from all sides, some flying very close to the drone. Fortunately, no direct attack occurred, but I know of cases where such close encounters ended with the drone being knocked down.
