The parks in Łódź are a true green oasis in the heart of the city. Most of them were created at the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century, when they were part of the palace and villa projects of factory owners. They were designed by famous Polish landscape architects, which allowed for the creation of unique plant collections. After World War II, new parks were developed to revitalize degraded areas. The city parks in Łódź offer a wide range of attractions, from playgrounds and sports fields to areas for physical activities, making them a place for daily relaxation for the residents.
