The Augustów Lake District is a group of lakes located near Augustów, in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, on the Augustów Plain. Although this term is not a formal unit of physical-geographical regionalization, it appears in many publications about the region, such as guides and popular science works. Among the most important lakes in this group are Białe Augustowskie, Necko, Studzieniczne, Sajno, Sajenek, Długie Augustowskie, Brożane, Górczyckie, Krzywe, Płaskie, Rospuda Augustowska, Kalejty, Kolno, and Orle, among others. The Augustów Lake District attracts nature lovers and water tourism enthusiasts, offering picturesque views and numerous attractions.
