Netta is a picturesque river in northeastern Poland, a right tributary of the Biebrza, with a length of 20 km (together with the Rospuda and the lakes Rospuda Augustowska and Necko – 102 km). The river is partially canalized for an 11 km stretch, where it forms the Augustów Canal, connecting the basins of the Vistula and Neman rivers. Netta is a popular destination for water tourism and recreational fishing. Its sources are located near Lake Rospuda Filipowska, and the river flows through the lakes Garbaś, Sumowo, and Bolesty. In the vicinity of Augustów, it takes the form of the Augustów Canal, and in its lower course, it creates numerous bends and oxbows. The 38 km long kayaking trail, particularly attractive in the upper course, is less frequented, making it an ideal spot for nature enthusiasts. It is worth noting that Netta can be an extension of two other trails leading towards the Biebrza: the Rospuda and Czarna Hańcza.
