An amazing spectacle in the sky at 1am - noctilucent clouds (NLC) over the Gdańsk Refinery. Silvery clouds are located in the mesosphere at an altitude of about 75-85 km and are the highest clouds that can be seen from Earth. They can be observed when the sun is 6 to 16 degrees below the horizon.
