Winter in Gran Canaria
We visited Gran Canaria during the winter months several times. Both in December and January in the south of the island it was warm and sunny. Typical summer weather with temperatures around 23-27 degrees Celsius. But in the mountains near the highest peaks it was cold and there were places where there was snow. The evening temperatures were below 5 degrees and a cold wind was blowing. I was very cold taking this photo. I waited almost an hour for the clouds to part and the sacred rock Roque Nublo to appear - but it was worth it!
